Although taste is personal, heirlooms are generally considered better tasting than hybrid varieties. Don't let their unique shapes turn you off. 

Heirloom tomato uses... Try them in salads like tomato salad with Rosemary and olive oil or with vegan parmesan and Basil or go for something really different and make fried tomatoes in the air fryer.
